Description

The gate and gate piers, located about 10 yards south-west of Huddington Court, date from the late 18th century and are made of cast iron. They feature ornate openwork piers topped with scrolled finials, connected by a low archway that has a scrolled and foliated design. The gate, which is hung on the western pier, includes a mid-rail and ornate cresting. It is reported that this gate was brought to Huddington Court from an estate in Yorkshire.
