Description

HUDDINGTON CP HUDDINGTON SO 95 NW 6/183 Gate and gate piers about 10 yards south- west of Huddington Court GV II Gate and gate piers. Late C18. Cast iron. Ornate openwork piers with scrolled finials and linked by a low archway of scrolled and foliated design. Gate hung on western pier has a mid-rail and ornate cresting. The gate is reported to have been brought to Huddington Court (qv) from an estate in Yorkshire. (BoE, p 200).
