Description

The gates, piers, flanking walls, and railings located 40 metres north of Hutton Court are an entrance feature dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from rubble, freestone, and cast iron. The structure includes two square gate piers topped with round heads that feature palmette decoration. The gates are designed with spearheads and palmettes. On either side, there are two low flanking walls that curve away to smaller piers, which have less decoration. The walls are topped with spearhead railings.
