Description

Moorlands is an early 19th-century house. It is rendered with slate roofs and has ashlar stacks. The main facade has two storeys and three windows, all of which are 16-light, glazing-bar sashes with louvre shutters. A later central porch has a cornice and plain parapet, with 2-light sashes at the sides, and contains a 4-panel door. Later wings were added to the east (left) and rear of the property. The two-storey east wing has two windows overlooking the garden, each being a 2-light sash. The rear gabled wing incorporates four cambered-head casements on its lower level and, adjacent to the main house, a large multi-pane studio window.
