Description

This barn, located about 15 metres south of Rose Cottage, dates from the 17th century and has undergone alterations in the late 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame set on a sandstone plinth, with weatherboarding and some brick infill, topped by a corrugated iron roof. The structure consists of two framed bays oriented east to west. The framing includes three square panels in height, an intermediate truss with two raking struts, and a gable with three struts to the collar, along with V-struts in the apex.
