Description

This barn, located about 50 metres north-west of Walnut Tree Cottage, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It features a timber-frame construction set on an ashlar plinth and is weatherboarded with a half-hipped tile roof. The barn is composed of four framed bays that are aligned east to west, with a threshing floor situated just west of the centre. The framing consists of single rectangular panels that are tall and supported by straight tension braces, and it has a queen-post roof.
