Description

This cow house, located about 15 metres south-west of Wrens Nest Farmhouse, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of sandstone, with coursed rubble and ashlar quoins, topped by a half-hipped tile roof. The building features three bays aligned north to south, with an open front on the west side that has stone piers forming an arcade. It is noted for being a well-preserved example of its type. Wrens Nest Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
