Description

The orangery, located about 80 yards south-west of Huddington Court, dates from the early 19th century and is built of ashlar. It has a rectangular plan and is a single storey high, featuring a parapet and large square aedicular corner finials. The north-east elevation includes a tetrastyle Tuscan portico, behind which is glazed infill with central glazed entrance doors. The side and rear elevations have central and corner pilasters topped with an entablature, and each has two 9-pane sash windows. There is also a central door at the rear, with all windows and the door featuring moulded architraves. It is reported that the orangery was brought to Huddington Court from Strensham Court.
