Description

The orangery, located approximately 10 meters east of Hudscott House, dates from the early 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. It features a brick facade with stone rubble at the rear and a slate roof with gable ends. The building has a small rectangular plan and is a single storey structure. At the center of the front, there is a door with a three-panelled base and a glazed upper half, which is adorned with margin glazing bars. This door is flanked by large transomed windows, each containing 16 panes above 24 panes. A central rear lateral brick stack is also present.
