Description

Farthing Cottage is a house dating from around 1800. It is built of squared limestone and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high, featuring one window on the ground floor and two on the first floor, all fitted with 20th-century casements, plain reveals, and keyed lintels. The door is located on the left under a slated canopy and has plain reveals. The right-hand gable is coped and includes a chimney, with the upper part of the chimney rebuilt in brick.
