Description
Fox House is a mid-18th century house that has been altered in the 20th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic. The north gable wall, which faces the street, has a two-storey canted bay window set on a stone base, with stone slate-hanging between the storeys. Above this bay window is an attic window that has plain reveals, a keyed lintel, and a casement. The gable is coped.
The east wall consists of two bays. The left bay contains 20th-century casement windows with plain reveals. The right bay features a first-floor window with plain reveals and a keyed lintel, along with a ground-floor door surround that has a slight chamfer. The south gable is coped and includes a chimney. The house is included for its group value.
