Description
Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 19th century, with alterations and additions made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has three storeys and a cellar, topped with a cogged eaves cornice. It has three bays, and all windows are glazing bar sashes with gauged flat heads. The ground-floor windows include sidelights, while the second-floor windows are single-hung six-pane sashes. A set of four repaired sandstone steps leads up to the central entrance, which features a hood canopy supported by consoles, deeply fluted pilasters, a six-panelled door (four panels of which are raised and fielded), panelled reveals, and a barred, segmental fanlight. The interior has not been inspected. A late 19th-century two-storey wing is attached to the left side elevation.
