Description

TIBBERTON CP MOOR END SO 95 NW 6/211 Barn about 10 yards north-west of Moor End Farmhouse

GV II Barn. C17 with late C19 alterations and additions. Timber-framed on lias limestone rubble plinth, weatherboarded with corrugated iron roof. Probably six framed bays aligned north/south; wagon bay situated second from south end and has opposed cart entries with double doors. A brick bay adjoins the south gable end with a timber-framed addition to its west elevation. There is also a single timber-framed bay addition at the north gable end. Interior not inspected. The barn encloses the west side of the farmyard to the front of Moor End Farmhouse (qv).
