Description
The garden walls immediately north-west of Ravenshill Farmhouse date from the early 18th century. They are made of handmade brick with brick coping and enclose an area of about 800 square feet. Originally, the walls stood 8 feet high, but they have been reduced to approximately 4 feet on the south and west sides. There is a central entrance on the north side featuring a cambered head and a 20th-century door. The north-west corner of the walls has been rebuilt in the late 20th century. These walls form a complete walled garden that was part of the original layout of Ravenshill Farmhouse.
