Description

Moat bridge, dated 1827, is located about 50 yards north of Huddington Court. It is constructed from cast iron and sandstone, featuring a single-span elliptical arch with circular and oval framework on the spandrels. The bridge has ornate railings with scrolled and quatrefoil details, a gate at the south end, and sandstone abutments with four steps on each side leading up to a planked walkway. At the center of the bridge, beneath the parapet on both sides, the inscription "STOURPORT FOUNDRY" along with the date "1827" can be found.
