Description
No. 6 Pierpoint Street is a house, now used as an office, dating from around 1830, with later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of pinkish-red brick in Flemish bond, with some areas rendered around the door surround, plinth, and parapet. It features a concealed roof and a brick stack on the left side, topped with an oversailing course and pot.
The house has two storeys and three first-floor windows. It has a chamfered plinth and renewed 1/1 sash windows throughout, set in plain reveals with flat arches made of gauged brick. The ground floor has sills, and there is a first-floor sill band with roll-moulding. The central entrance consists of a renewed door with an overlight.
The property is part of a group that includes Nos 4-8 and Nos 11, 12, 12A, and 13 Pierpoint Street, as well as Nos 4 and 6 Sansome Walk.
