House, now shop with offices. Mid C18 with later additions and alterations including c1980s ground floor shop front. Stucco over brick with ashlar cornice and concealed roof. 3 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Stucco detailing includes nded and fluted end pilasters from first floor; moulded cornice, low coped parapet. 6/6 sashes throughout in shallow reveals with sills and fluted, coped keystones. Ground floor has plate-glass shop front canted in to glazed entrance at right. INTERIOR: no original features or evidence of plan remains to ground floor, otherwise not inspected. Nos 25, 26 and 27 (qqv) together with Nos 31-34(consecutive) (qqv) form a good group of listed buildings on the High Street opposite to the Guildhall (qv).
