House, now shop with offices. Mid C18 with later alterations including shop front mid C19. Pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond with rubbed brick arches and timber cornice; concealed roof with truncated right stack; timber shop front and lead rainwater head. 3 storeys, 4 first-floor windows. First and second floors have 6/6 sashes in plain reveals with flat arches, those to second floor have sills. Moulded cornice and low, coped parapet. 5 tie-rod ends between first and second floors. Rainwaterhead and fall-pipe to left. Ground floor retains continuous Victorian shop front; entrance to left has 5-panel door with overlight; then shop front has plinth, plate-glass windows divided by slender mullions and panes curved on plan canted in to further off-centre right entrance a glazed door with lower panel; continuous frieze divided into panes by slender mullions; fluted Ionic pilasters to ends and to right of left-hand entrance surmounted by dentil entablature, acanthus modillions surmount pilasters and 2 to centre, crowning cornice has foliate decoration. Demolished and rebuilt in 1974, with the exception of the facade facing onto High Street which is significant for its C18 fabric and impressive C19 shop front.
