Description

These stables, located about 25 metres east of Middle Battenhall Farmhouse, date from the late 17th century and have undergone alterations in the late 19th century. They are constructed with a timber frame set on a stone plinth, featuring brick infill and a tiled roof. The building has four framed bays that are aligned east to west and is a single storey high. There are three windows, each with single-light casements, and three entrances. The framing consists of three square panels in height, with each truss supported by two raking struts.
