Description

Church Cottage is a house from the early 19th century. It is built of red brick and features a slate hipped roof with a rectangular plan. The house has a central stack and an entry located on the south elevation, which includes a later lean-to extension on the west side. It stands two storeys high and has two pointed-arched windows with Gothick glazing, each featuring a central pivoting light. The south elevation also has a partly glazed door set within a pointed arched doorway, along with one window above it. It is believed that this building was formerly a school house.
