Description

Severnbank House is a former farmhouse dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped tiled roof. The building is two rooms deep and has an L-shaped service range to the rear, featuring two axial brick chimney stacks. The main facade has three storeys and three windows, with glazing bar sashes beneath cambered brick lintels. A central Doric portico with a moulded cornice and blocking course provides the main entrance, above which is a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars. The entrance is accessed by a six-panelled door.
