Description

The Rookery is a house built in the early 19th century, constructed of red brick and topped with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features a two-storey rear outshut. The front facade has three windows, with a central six-panel door that includes a fanlight adorned with radial glazing bars. The door is framed by a timber doorcase that has panelled reveals, moulded pilasters with patera stops, and a shallow cornice. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and are topped with flat gauged brick arches. The building also has bracketted eaves and end stacks.
