Description

The monument to the Walker family, dating from around 1820, is located 35 yards south of the Parish Church of St John the Baptist. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a vertical cube shape. The monument is adorned with reeded corner pilasters topped with paterae, a moulded cornice, and a pyramidal cap with a square-based finial. It is inscribed in memory of Thomas Walker, who died in 1818, and his wife, Fanny, who died in 1820.
