Description
Upper Tundridge Farmhouse is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with 19th-century extensions. It features a timber-framed structure with square panels and painted brick infill, topped by a tiled roof. An external rubble chimney with tiled offsets, a bread oven, and a rebuilt brick stack is located at the south gable end. There is also a lean-to extension at the north gable end, which is part rubble and part timber-frame. The building consists of two structural bays and has a doorway at the south gable end. It is a single storey with an attic that includes dormers. The main elevation has irregular fenestration, featuring two ground floor casements and three gabled dormers with casements. A 20th-century lean-to porch is present at the south gable end, along with a two-storey brick extension added to the rear in the 19th century.
