Description

This is an 18th-century cottage situated in Suckley. It is a timber-frame building with thin scantling timbering and large rectangular rendered wattle-and-daub panels. The south elevation has been pebble-dashed. The roof is tiled, and there is an external rubble chimney and bread oven with a tiled lean-to roof at the east gable. The cottage has two structural bays and two storeys. The main south-facing elevation, which faces away from the road, features two ground floor casement windows, one first floor casement window, and a central doorway with a gabled timber porch and a 19th-century panelled door. A lean-to extension and two attic lights are present at the west gable end. A ground floor casement window is visible on the left bay of the north elevation.
