Description

Upper Court is an early 18th-century farmhouse, shown on Ordnance Survey maps as Suckley Court. The building is constructed of brick with a tiled roof and brick end stacks. It is two storeys high, with a cellar, and features a three-course band above ground and first floor levels. The façade is five bays wide, with paired brick pilasters at each end. All windows have cambered heads; the ground floor windows and the central first floor window are glazing bar sashes. One first floor window to the left of centre is blocked, while the remaining first floor windows are four-pane sashes. A central 19th-century eight-panelled door is set beneath a canopy supported on three console brackets. A moated site is situated to the northeast of the farmstead.
