Description

The Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with 19th-century extensions. It features a timber-framed structure with square panels, some of which have painted brick infill and others are plastered wattle-and-daub. The roof is tiled, and there is an external brick stack with tiled offsets at the south gable end. The building consists of two structural bays and is a single storey with an attic. The main elevation has three gabled dormers with casements, a ground floor casement, and a gabled timber porch on the right bay. At the rear, there is a 19th-century brick extension, as well as a lean-to extension on the north gable end.
