Description

This is a barn located about 20 metres northeast of Bury End Town Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of peach-coloured brick and features a tiled roof. The barn has six bays, with the second and fifth bays designed as wagon bays that have square-headed opposed cart entries. Notable architectural details include a dentilled eaves cornice, alternate header ventilation courses, and owl-holes in the gable ends.

Inside, the roof is supported by intermediate raking strut trusses and single, trenched purlins.
