Description
This is a large 18th-century barn constructed of light red brick, located to the north of Town End Farmhouse. The barn has a stepped eaves cornice and a high-pitched pantiled roof. It features arrow slip openings. A large wagon entrance, complete with a lintel beam and elliptical relieving arch, is positioned off-centre on the south face. To the southwest, a lower, two-storey range, likely dating from around 1800, abuts the barn and is similarly built of red brick with a pantile roof.
