Description

Old Coatham Bridge is located on the common boundary of the Parishes of Elton and Long Newton. It dates from the 18th century or early 19th century. The bridge features a long, low parapet made of coursed sandstone rubble with flat stone coping. It has segmental chamfered arches at road level and outer buttresses.
