Description
The Manor House is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick with a pantiled roof and end chimneys. It stands two storeys high and features five windows. The original sash windows have been replaced but still include glazing bars set under cambered brick arches. The entrance boasts a four-panel door topped with an oblong fanlight. This house is part of a group that includes the Church and Rectory.
Inside, the parlour is fully panelled and showcases oak-leaf carving on the dado rail. There is an enriched moulded and modillioned plaster cornice, along with segmental panelled window heads, panelled reveals, shutters, and window seats. The original door features a large brass lockplate and handle. The staircase retains its original design, with two turned balusters per tread. The chimney walls are also panelled, and there are cupboards in two other rooms, accompanied by deep moulded cornices. A fire insurance sign is located in the centre of the first floor.
