House C17 L-plan timber-frame and painted brick with much larger c1850 red brick and stone addition on North side. C17 range has plain tiled roof and one ridge stack, North end cross-wing with exposed timbers to West gable, East end-wall outside stack and small dormer gable on South side. South range has 2 dormers to West front and 1 to rear. Largely recased in brick with C19 or modern windows, 2 C19 sashes to West gable end of cross-wing. c1850 North Range, tall 2 storey cross-gabled with additional slightly lower gabled East section. Tudor style detail. Plain tile roof with 4 diagonal brick stacks on South gable and 3 octagonal stacks on principal East gable. Pierced traceried barge-boards to West, North and both East gables. Sash windows in stone Tudor style openings, 2 window range to North with carved arms above in gable, 2 window range to East front with large projecting porch with stepped brick gable and moulded stone 4 centred arch. Similar surround to inner door, panelled double doors. West front has large 2 storey stone bay window with 3-light front and single light canted sides. Parapet over.
