Description
The barn located to the north-east of The Malthouse is a mid-17th century structure that has been altered over time. It is built of brick and retains its original north gable and east wall. The north gable features a shaped design with an arched upper opening, and below it is a triple arcaded opening with diagonally set mullions. There is a string course and blind arcading beneath this opening, although much of it is concealed by a later addition. The east wall has blocked arcaded openings, also with diagonally set mullions. The later west wall is distinguished by a brick dentil cornice, and the roof is covered with plain tiles.
