Description

The Old Gardens is a late 16th century timber-braced box frame house located in Upton-upon-Severn. It features painted brick infill and a machine tile roof with gabled ends. The building has two storeys plus an attic and is L-shaped in plan. The south gable is faced with brick. It has iron frame casement windows with leaded panes, although some are modern. There are also later small single-storey wings and brick chimney stacks.

Inside, the property showcases exposed timber framing and some panelling. Records indicate that this property dates back to 1580, with documentation believed to be held at Tewkesbury Abbey.
