Description
Ryall Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th to 17th centuries, originally timber-framed and later partly of painted brick. It is arranged in an L-shape. The roof is covered in plain tiles, with a half-hip where it meets the south side and a hip where it meets the north and rear wing. A substantial brick ridge stack is present, incorporating three diagonal shafts within the main stack. The west front exhibits exposed timber framing, while the south end and part of the west front have been refaced with painted brick, dating to the 19th century. The rear wing is of 18th-century brick. The two-storey main house has a four-window front with triple casement windows, and a small window positioned above the front door.
