Description
The building is a service range, now functioning as a factory, located about 40 yards east of Stanford Court. It dates from the mid-18th century and has undergone some alterations in the mid-20th century. The structure is made of brick and features a hipped plain tiled roof with a central ridge stack. It stands two storeys high and has a modillion eaves cornice. The facade consists of three bays, two of which break forward and are gabled, with a total arrangement of three bays, two bays, and three bays. The windows have gauged flat heads, ashlar keyblocks, and sills, and were originally all 12-pane sashes. The first-floor window in the sixth bay is blind, and the two ground floor windows in the central two bays have had casements inserted. Doors with transom lights have been added to the second and seventh bays, although the opening in the seventh bay is now blocked. Additionally, there is a blocked circular window in the apex of the central gable. Inside, there is a large brick fireplace in the ground floor room to the left of centre.
