Description
The former service range, located about 110 metres east of Stanford Court, dates from the mid-18th century and has undergone alterations in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped tiled roof with a central ridge stack. The building stands two storeys high and has a modillion eaves cornice. It likely consists of three bays, a central section that breaks forward and is gabled, and a circular opening in the gable apex. The elevations are obscured by 20th-century additions, making close inspection difficult, but it is said to resemble another service range located about 40 yards east of Stanford Court. This building is included for its group value.
