Description

The pump and pump house at Cross Hands, dating from the mid- to late 19th century, are constructed of painted brick and cast iron, topped with a tiled roof. The building has a rectangular plan, featuring an entrance with a round arch and an iron gate. The bargeboards are shaped, and the ridge tiles are adorned with end finials and pierced cresting. Inside, the pump is made of cast iron.
