Description
Pyndar House is a house that possibly dates from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a rendered exterior, which is said to cover timber-framing, and has a tiled roof. The house has two storeys and an attic, with two bays on each side of the porch. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, except for the altered ground floor to the left of the porch, which has a single-storey extension with a tripartite window that is sash but without glazing bars. The gabled porch is two storeys high, with an attic and one bay. The outer doorway has a round arch with a keystone, while the inner doorway features a timber Doric doorcase. The house has gable chimneys, with the left-hand gable being coped. The right-hand gable wall is made of brick and displays an exposed M-roof truss of 18th-century style.
