Description

The Old Vicarage is a house dating from around 1600, constructed with timber framing and a tile roof. It has a half H-plan layout and stands two storeys tall, framed in square panels. The building features cross-wings, each consisting of one bay, with trusses that include tie-beams, collars, and V-struts. The left-hand wing displays exposed straight tension braces. The recessed centre of the house has a window on each floor and a door located to the right. A tiled verandah covers the ground floor. Inside, the central room on the ground floor boasts deeply-chamfered ceiling beams with pyramid stops.
