Description

This is a Grade II listed gas street lamp. The lamp column is made of cast iron and features a Windsor lantern. The lantern tapers and is supported by four scrolled brackets on a tapering, reeded column that flares into a cushion ring. The plinth has a panel on each face and stands on a square base, which is cast with the founder's mark. The ladder rest has reeded arms with moulded finials. The column is marked with the stencilled number 31.
