Description

Essington Cottage is a small, early 19th century house located on Holy Well Road. The house is of two storeys and has a stucco facade, with brick visible on the side. It features two full-height bowed front sections, now fitted with mullion and transom windows of five lights. A single window is centrally placed within a decorative moulded surround. The facade has narrow grooved pilasters, an entablature, and a cornice embellished with paterae. The entrance is a six-panel door.
