Description

May Place is an early 19th-century building located on Wells Road. It is three storeys high, constructed of stucco with a tile roof. The facade features four windows, along with two narrow modern lights in a gabled wing to the right. The central windows have shutters. The entrance boasts a moulded wood doorcase with an open pediment, a radiating fanlight, and panelled reveals and door. To the left, there is a projecting gabled wing added in 1899, which matches the original design. This wing has two three-light windows that are joined by a semi-circular pediment and cornice.
