Description

This is a 19th century gas street lamp located at the National Grid Reference SO7660747184. The lamp is made of cast iron and features a Windsor lantern. The lantern tapers and is supported by four scrolled brackets on a flared, reeded capital. The column is also tapering and reeded, extending down to a flared foot on a square base. The ladder rest includes reeded arms with moulded finials.
