Description

The Clock Tower is a water tower built in 1901, constructed from brick and red terracotta, and features a clock on all four sides. The tower is designed in four stages, complete with cornices, crenellations, and animal waterspouts. The base is made of Malvern stone with ashlar dressings around the doorway. Notably, it incorporates an earlier stone that commemorates the construction of tanks at the expense of Charles Morris Jun Esq of Portman Square, London, in 1835 and 1836. The inscription expresses a prayer for blessings upon him for his generosity towards the young and aged poor of North Malvern.
