Description

The stocks, whipping post, and animal pound located opposite Holy Trinity Church on North Malvern Road date from the 17th and 18th centuries, with the animal pound being from the 19th century. The wooden stocks feature four leg holes and are positioned next to a whipping post in front of a stone animal pound that has later brick reinforcements at the corners. The animal pound measures approximately 20 feet square.
