Description
The stocks and whipping post, located approximately 35 meters west-southwest of the Church of St. Mary in Forthampton, date from the 18th century. The structure is made of wood and features stocks that consist of two vertical planks with three pairs of leg holes. At the left end, there is a whipping post equipped with three pairs of cast iron manacles. The area is enclosed by a low iron hoop railing on three sides.
