Description
Oldmill Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse with alterations made in the mid-19th and mid-20th centuries. It was originally built of brick and has been refronted in sandstone, with a plain tiled roof that is hipped at the front and rear. The farmhouse has blue brick stacks from the 19th century. It is three stories high and has three bays. The ground and first-floor windows have flat arches, and the outer bays have 3-light casements, while the central bay has 2-light casements. All the windows are 20th-century replacements within the original window openings. The central entrance has a shallow, flat, moulded canopy supported by consoles, a 4-panelled door, and a transom light with latticed glazing bars.
