6/60 Walled garden about 10 yards east of Clent House
GV II
Walled garden. Early to mid-C18 with mid-C20 alterations. Brick with sandstone coping. Walls vary between 10 feet to 15 feet high and enclose area of approximately 500 square yards. There are doorways with cambered heads at the corners. The west wall, adjacent to Clent House (qv) has a central section of about 12 yards long that was altered in C20 to a height of about four feet and has central square gate piers with sandstone capping. The walls are of a notable length and height and form an important part of the former garden layout to the original main house. The garden faces the main entrance front to the present Clent House.
