Bridge over lake. 1880. Cast-iron with ashlar abutments and piers. Cast-iron segmental arches with lattice work spandrels has date: 1880; balustrade with interlaced arcading and handrail, partly repaired with timber; ashlar piers to ends have embattled parapets; flat deck approx 5m wide and 20m long. West Park was laid out by V.H. Vertegans, 1879-81, on the site of Broad Meadows racecourse.
