Description

This is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century, situated on Sandwell Street in Walsall. Constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, it features painted stone dressings and a slate roof. The house is three storeys high and has three bays. The windows have stone sills and lintels with false keystones. Most windows are sash windows with glazing bars, although those on the second floor are casements with glazing bars. A window in the middle of the first floor is blind. The central doorway has an architrave with a cornice resting on consoles. Chimneys project from both ends of the building. It is positioned forward of numbers 2, 3, and 4 Doveridge Place.
